About Us

City mom Katharina (left) and country mom Lisa (right) are writing here.
Katharina lives in Berlin with her husband and four children (*2010, *2014 *2016 *2023). Lisa left the capital years ago and now lives with her husband, three children (2006, twins2008) and several animals in the Bergisch region near Cologne.

What we have in common is that we have children – and blonde curls. When we met as very young journalism students on a research trip to Romania in our early 20s and were repeatedly referred to as „twins,“ Lisa was already thinking about having children – Katharina about a career. Little did anyone know that our paths would cross again later: and now we’re colleagues, here on the blog!

For us, Stadt Land Mama is a passionate hobby, an everyday processing support group and fun all rolled into one. We love the exchange, the writing and the reactions. In „real“ life we are journalists – you can find out what and for whom we write under „Journalistic work.“

Here on the blog, we mainly write about feelings and everyday life, failure and happiness. And about our lives in our early forties, which we love. Most of the time.
